Kathie has been a resident of the Bay Area since 1954. She attended Berkeley High and did her graduate work in the field of education at U.C. Berkeley. After teaching for a number of years, she made a career change to real estate in 1982. Married with a daughter who is an agent in Boston, Kathie lives in the Rockridge district of Oakland.

Kathie is interested in all aspects of the visual arts; she enjoys reading about history (especially Civil War and Bay area local history), exercising, eating-healthy and taking care of her 2 dogs and 2 cats. She has a sense of humor that has served her well in her profession!
