Neighborhoods in Berkeley have their own special charm and individual character.

Berkeley Bowl The Berkeley Bowl, a grocery store, is one of those iconic institutions that defines the area immediately around it. The fresh and seasonal produce compares with the produce at the Farmer's Markets and it is available everyday.	Berkeley Hills The Berkeley Hills are known for having quiet streets and Golden Gate Views. In places the streets are winding, tree-lined and sometimes even without sidewalks. There are beautiful city Parks like Cragmont Park and Indian Rock Park where people who enjoy rock climbing can be found. Of course Tilden Park is there for biking, hiking and swimming in the summer months.
Central Berkeley University Avenue and Shattuck Avenue are two of Berkeley's main streets where you can find almost anything that your heart desires.	Elmwood One of the most appealing aspects of Elmwood is the residential tree lined streets with large elegant homes and convenient proximity to all that College Avenue has to offer.
Gourmet Ghetto As the name suggests, there are wonderful places to eat, excellent coffee shops and boutiques for clothes, shoes and upscale household items all within a few blocks.	North Berkeley North Berkeley is a neighborhood of choice because the streets are quiet and the homes are picturesque.
Ocean View Ocean View is part of Berkeley's earliest history. The homes are charming Victorians. The shops and restaurants on Fourth Street have added to the ambiance of the neighborhood.	Thousand Oaks Thousand Oaks is a neighborhood where you can have everything. You can live in the hills, enjoy the views, soak in the ambiance, and still be able to walk to everything.
Monterey Market Neighborhood The neighborhood directly surrounding the Monterey Market is one of the most coveted in the city. The charming homes in this neighborhood are any easy stroll to some of Berkeley's favorite places.
