Fat Apples Neighborhood

The Fat Apples Neighborhood of El Cerrito is so called because Fat Apples, the gourmet hamburger restaurant, is near by on Fairmount Ave. The area between the Albany border and Fairmount, also referred to the Saint Jerome's, is a quaint neighborhood of charming homes constructed mostly in the 1930s and 1940s. The homes are mostly stucco, often split level with nice size yards.
