The East Bay has a huge number of parks. There are parks for hiking, parks for walking your dog, parks for fishing and much more....

Point Isabel Dog Park As if walking your dog next to the Bay with views of the Golden Gate, San Francisco and Mt. Tam wasn't enough, there is an outdoor cafe called The Sit and Stay Cafe, where you can enjoy a meal while your dog socializes with other dogs and people. We go to Point Isabel every Saturaday and Sunday morning where we enjoy a latte and breakfast bagel before beginning our walk.	Tilden Park "One of the District's three oldest parks, Tilden has been called the jewel of the system, and its recreational activities have become a happy tradition for generations of East Bay youngsters. From a carousel ride and a picnic to a swim at Lake Anza and a stroll through the Botanic Garden, Tilden has variety to delight everyone."
Temescal Regional Recreational Area "Originally constructed as a storage lake for drinking water, Temescal opened to the public in 1936 as one of the District's first three parks. The handsome stone building overlooking its lake was constructed in 1940 by Works Progress Administration crews."	Blake Gardens in Kensington "During the winter months the garden is a very dynamic place. Although not much is in flower, we are busy mulching, pruning, clearing and staying on top of winter storm damage. Frogs are peeping and birds are tuning up for the spring. Much water fills the tributaries of Cerrito creek that run through the garden..." From the website
