Redwood Heights is a great neighborhood. There is a neighborhood association that address neighborhood issues, is involved with the neighborhood school and sponsors local events. The Redwood Heights Recreational Center offers programs in Tball, gymnastics, guitar, karate, 8 week summer programs for teens and more.

Redwood Heights is a very nice place to live. The houses are charming, mostly built between the late 1920s (Period Revival) to the 1950s (Mid Century). Three bedrooms are not difficult to find. it is also possible to find a second bath, mostly in the houses built in the 1950s. Avenue Terrace Playground is a popular park visited by people living in the neighborhood. Redwood Heights Elementary School has a very good reputation.

Period Revival 1915 - 1940

During this period the homes were designed to look like buildings from another place or era. There are Spanish or Mediterranean Revival homes that look like Mediterranean villas. The Tudor Revival architecture is designed to look like English Tudor mansions and Colonial Revival look like American Colonial homes.
